who we are
Inception of dps permits inc. dates back to 1978 under the ownership of Steffenie's mother with the pool industry as their primary client base. Today, dps provides project management and expediting services to general contractors, pool builders, and related landscape contractors. We integrate with structural engineers, geological engineers, architects, and municipalities.

Steffenie took over the business in 1999. She left Corporate America and, with her bachelor's degree in Communication, she used her interpersonal skills to build a strong and growing business. She prides herself in quick and effective communication, strong organizational skills, and many years of hands on experience.

Paul joined dps is 2003, following a career in sales. He was able to easily transition into a new field of work and works tirelessly for his clients. Paul has a great ability to review and prepare plans and can work with many different mediums. Paul doesn't shy away from being direct in order to get what he needs.
devan ellison

Devan joined the dps permits crew in early 2018 after receiving her bachelor's degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Public Relations from California State University, Long Beach. Devan's ability to formulate strong relationships with permit technicians and to remain organized when dealing with different cities' regulations makes her a great asset to the team. She applied her marketing knowledge she gained from CSULB to help create the company's website, logo design, and marketing supplies.

As the most recent addition to the dps crew, Hunter is currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration at California State University, Fullerton. He applies his studies to be an effective permit expeditor. Hunter is quick and can handle multiple projects at once.
